ABSTRACT

Achilles tendinopathy is a painful condition that often develops as a result of overloading to tendon. There are many factors in etiology like tendon ischemia, micro-tears and metabolic events. Non-insertional tendon region of the Achilles tendon that has poor vascularity is a common localization for tendinopathy. In this paper, we presented a 55 year old man, who had pain and swelling in the right heel and we discussed the importance of ultrasound.
